Chirendu Gupta (Managing Director)
Chirendu Gupta heads Verve Systems as the Managing Director. With over 12+ years of experience in Software and particularly in the Offshore Software space, Chirendu has pioneered the software outsourcing processes and defined innovative business models for international markets. His past and current experience include Manufacturing Industry (Production), System Analysis, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Functional Consultancy, and Business Development. He has worked with small, mid and large-sized IT companies, handling key roles and responsibilities across various functions. This includes successfully setting up offices & partnership in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, US, Canada, United Kingdom, Benelux etc. In his past role he has worked as Functional Consultant for ERP implementations, Project Development and Implementation experience in varied kind of industries like Port, Refinery, Dairy, Heavy Machinery Fabrication, and Service Industry etc. His experience also include implementation of CMM practice for his previous organization thus his keen focus on Quality aspect in Verve. He continues to contribute to the overall corporate development, identifying global markets, making strategic partners, sales, strategic planning, infusing value-addition in the service offerings, client relationship management, and quality process improvement. He has led the growth of Verve with his strong business acumen and managerial capabilities. Chirendu holds a Bachelors degree in Technology and Post Graduate in Business Administration.
Shuvendu Gupta (Chief Operating Officer)
Shuvendu has over 21 years of rich and diverse experience of the communication industry, marketing, advertising, PR, corporate communications through his exposure to broad spectrum of clients, from big corporate, FMCG, Hospitality, Realty, Aviation, blue-chip public sector organizations to private sector giants. Involved in Brand building, Identity & image building, communication strategy, Media Relations, Media & Advertising Planning, Promotional & Marketing plans. He has closely worked with companies and brands to project the core values of the organization in a distinct and clear manner to its stakeholders. He has been a student and practitioner of marketing and has steered various brands which has honed his strategic skills and business acumen by getting involved with every aspect – strategy, tactics, creativity, team-building, client relations, new business development and almost all media vehicles. As a communication professional and manager he has been responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the Organization’s communication and marketing strategies, management of the entire creative team, strategic planning, budgeting, systems development, client relationship, new business development, staff training and people development. His journey began in 1992 with an Animation film making company and then went on to be part of various reputed advertising and communication companies notably being MSL Group Creative+ and also a stint of 3 years with Sahara India as corporate communication professional. Before joining Verve, he was with ABG Cement at Mumbai in their Brand & Marketing team – one of India’s largest ship building company in private sector. Shuvendu holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from MS University and Masters in Management (Marketing) from Sardar Patel University.
Vikas Jain (Practice Head [Java & Mobile])
Vikas Jain is working as a Practice Head (Java and Mobile Solutions) at Verve Systems. With over 17 years of experience in handling large scale software projects, Vikas is an experienced leader with a strong background in Project Management practices and Software Development methodologies. He has experience in developing and delivering software solutions to the clients across Europe and US. As a key proponent of Agile practises he has been successful in implementing and delivering projects using SCRUM with geographically distributed teams. He has worked on areas of Operations Efficiency for improved application stability, streamlined incident management, delivered productivity through optimal resource utilization, Code-reuse & automated testing practices. Vikas is also part of Resource management group and in turn responsible for effective resource utilization, upgrading technical skill sets, identifying a team best fit for project needs, provide technical guidance and coordination with Business Development team. He has worked on solutions for varied verticals including Gaming, Retail industry, Enterprise mobility, Geo-Location based services, Advertisement and Hospitality. Vikas holds a degree of Bachelor of Engineering. He is also a Certified Java developer and a Certified Scrum Master.
Nitin Bawsay (Chief Executive Officer)
Nitin Bawsay is the Chief Executive Officer at Verve Systems. He holds over 25+ years of experience in the field of IT Software development. He is a leader with entrepreneurship abilities and professional exposure. He has worked with SME to Large Enterprises in IT industries managing key roles and responsibilities across various functions. He holds specialties in Global sales, Account Management, Marketing Automation, Product Development, Project Management, People Management, Customer Services, Pre- and Post-Sales Services, Requirement Analysis, Change Management, Technical Operations and Database Architecting. His journey began in 1988; he has continued to progress towards IT development and be part of many reputed software development organizations. He has performed as Executive Vice President, General Manager, Vice President of Global Software Sales, Director of Engineering, Vice-President of Engineering and Technical Architect before joining Verve as CEO. Nitin is certified Corporate Director from World Council for Corporate Governance UK and is qualified with Intellectual Property and IT from Indian Law School Delhi. He holds PG Diploma in Computer Science and Applications. He has been honored as speaker at many conferences.
Chirag Shah (Practice Head – Open Source)
Chirag Shah serves as a Practice Head of Verve Systems. In this role he is accountable for all software delivery for the organization – product delivery, product implementations and services. He is responsible for driving the effort behind processes and strategies that would enable speedy, quality and smooth delivery of software. He is responsible for streamlining development, test, support functions and providing leadership to the entire delivery team. In an addition, he is also involved in pre-sales and client interaction, spot business opportunities ensuring optimal utilization of resources and carry business targets, reviewing people and teams. Prior to joining Verve, Chirag was working with Motif India Infotech Pvt. Ltd. as a Director, Software Development. Chirag was responsible for the overall software development activities at Motif which has grown from 20 employees to 1200 employees. Motif’s in-house software was one of the biggest differentiator helping organization scaling to three operations locations. Before he was moved to Motif, Chirag was working for Confluence Software (Software Company started by the founders of Motif) as a Sr. Software Engineer. At Confluence, he was responsible for off-shore development and actively involved in client meetings, updates and deliveries. Chirag started his professional career with Vadilal Industries limited as a programmer. Chirag has more than 16 years of experience in project management, team handling, system analysis and design, database administration, web servers, mail servers and domain configurations. Chirag holds M.C.A. (Master of Computer Applications) degree. He has also completed his Bachelor of Science as a graduation.
Bharat Arora (Practice Head [Microsoft Solutions])
Bharat Arora is working as a Practice Head (Microsoft Solutions) at Verve Systems. He has over 14 years of experience in handling multi technology and multiparty large scale software projects. He is experienced at initiating, administering and executing different stages of SDLC and overall operations including pre-sales, estimation, planning, monitoring, development and user acceptance testing. He looks after customers from different geographical regions including clients from US, UK, The Netherlands, Australia etc. Bharat is also part of Resource management group and in turn responsible for effective resource utilization, upgrading technical skill sets and identifying a team best fit for project’s needs. Bharat holds a degree of Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science. He is also Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Specialist.
Hiren Savani (Creative Head)
Hiren Savani’s role at Verve involves the creative and operations side, where managing such aspects are key in developing the business. His vast background of experience assists in achieving this. Hiren has experience spanning across 15 years in the creative sector including Packaging Design, Publication and Print Media in a wide range of industries. Hiren has worked with various target markets such as, domestic clients (Westside, Wills Lifestyle, Shopper Stops) as well as international clients (Netherlands, Denmark, Ireland, Sweden, UK, and USA) giving him broad knowledge and understanding of different markets. His vast experience gives him imperative skills to enable in performing his current role including a keen eye for detail, team management to ensure effective delivery to the end client and excellent communicator and organizer. Other core skills include a strong technical background with in depth knowledge and understanding of clients. Hiren also has a proven track record of high quality client liaisons achieved from his natural peoples person personality, which was developed through an understanding of the importance of maintaining customer relations from over 10 years of face-to-face contact with clients. Hiren’s proactive yet relaxed approach creates a studio in which people enjoy working in and has essentially promotes creativity and increases production. Jay Patel (Vice President [Global Sales] USA)
Jay Patel, a 30 year resident of Mesa, AZ, USA, graduated from Middlesex University in London, UK with bachelors in Mathematics for Business. Jay founded SONA DATA systems in 1986 based in Tempe, AZ. His organization specialized in ERP based custom software and hardware solutions, providing complete turnkey solutions for various types of small to medium size businesses. In 1997 the hardware division of SONA DATA together with the customized software was acquired by another corporation, which lead Jay to streamline his business to software development in newer M/S technologies. In 2003, Jay became involved in the real estate development & finance industry. Madhukar Dubey (Vice President [Global Sales] USA)
IT Professional with over 12 years rich experience in Business Development, Project Management, SDLC Planning & Coordination, People Management etc. in the IT sector. Significant experience in developing Software / Web Applications with abilities in managing the spectrum of tasks ranging from conceptualization to deployment, management of project teams & customer relationship management. Moez Vallani (Vice President [Global Sales] Canada)
Moez has Over 15 years’ experience in IT industry. He is working with Verve Systems as a partner in Canada Region. He started his career as a Software Developer and Business Analyst before moving into a Consultancy role. He has worked across various industries such as Government, Travel, Financial, Telecom, Healthcare, Print media, etc. He has experience in working with some renowned companies and governmental institute some of which are ICBC, Expedia, Accenture, TELUS Mobility, Canaccord and Provincial Health Authority, Ministry of Human Resources, etc. He is also the President of Netzero Consulting. His experience includes managing enterprise software development life cycle (SDLC), Project Management experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies. He also has in-depth knowledge and experience in information systems architecture, software design methodologies and object oriented design.
